Sculptural Installation "Grüße die Hühner" ["Greetings to the Chickens"] - 9th Swiss Triennial of Sculptures in Bad Ragaz

The 9th Swiss Triennial will be presented in Bad Ragaz from 4. May to 30. October 2024. The Triennial is one of the largest open-air exhibitions in Europe and has become one of the most important art events in recent years.

Artists from all over the world exhibit their works under the motto "Present". The setting is the green parks in Bad Ragaz, the historic Old Bad Pfäfers and the streets and squares of Vaduz.

Surrounded by this wonderful landscape, the numerous works of art offer a special experience. Thanks to various guided tours, everyone can experience the art at first hand.

The conceptual artist Ottmar Hörl has now produced his chicken sculpture in large format for the first time. The larger-than-life sized pair of chickens is the main subject of the installation "Greetings to the Chickens". As the symbolic figure of this year's "Bad RagARTz", the chickens stand out not only because of their size, but also because of their unusual purple colour.

The colour was not chosen at random, but quite purposely. Because this year it is called "2024 will be purple!" and the special colour gives visitors plenty of scope for their own interpretations.
