Sculptural Installation "Folichons"- 40 Years Promotion Circle & 20 Years Art Mile Baille Maille Allee in Himmelkron

From 19. July 2024 to 21. July 2024, the anniversary "40 Years Förderkreis & 20 Years Art Mile Baille-Maille-Allee" will be duly celebrated in Himmelkron.

With the installation of 50 golden folichons, conceptual artist Ottmar Hörl turns the anniversary into an art highlight.

The tree row planted in the 17th century and replanted by a promotion circle is known as the "Art Mile" and also serves as an installation site for Ottmar Hörl's golden folichons.

Folichon, which means amusing, charming or even funny, is a papillon dog and is considered the symbolic animal of Margravine Wilhelmine of Bayreuth. Even during her lifetime, Wilhelmine liked to be portrayed together with her folichon.

Under the patronage of District Administrator Klaus Peter Söllner & Mayor Gerhard Schneider, all visitors will be presented a diverse festival program.
