We hope spring is on its way for you too. Quite a while has passed since we sent out the last newsletter - so now we have more to report. With this in mind, we look back on an eventful 2024 with impressive exhibitions as well as installations and look forward to exciting projects in the future.

Exhibition "Alles in Ordnung" ["Everything is in Order"] at the Art Museum Celle
Since 08. March 2025, selected series of works show how Ottmar Hörl combines chaos and control and at the same time, focuses on what is probably the most important system of order: nature. The exhibition can be seen at the Kunstmuseum Celle until 14. September 2025.

Exhibition "Solo" in Essen
From 14. March 2025 - 03. May 2025, Galerie Obrist presents a selection of works by Ottmar Hörl. Among other things, the Worldview Model III, paintings and various Salient Points can be seen.

Sculptural Installation "Besser der Spatz in der Hand als die Taube auf dem Dach" ["Better the Sparrow in the Hand than the Pigeon on the Roof"] in Essen
200 golden sparrows adorned the glass pavilion in Grugapark in Essen from 15. March 2025 - 12. April 2025.

Exhibition "Konzeptuelle Kunst" ["Conceptual Art"] in Baden-Baden
The Gesellschaft der Freunde Junger Kunst e.V. ["Society of Friends of Young Art"] shows a selection of works by Ottmar Hörl from 30. March 2025 - 18. May 2025. The exhibition presents key works from 1983 to 2025 and invites visitors to rethink art.

Outdoor Installation "Scultura 24" in Baden-Baden
In March 2024, the open-air exhibition "Scultura 24", organised by the Society of Friends of Young Art, was presented on the Florentinerberg around the Alte Dampfbad.

Sculptural Installation "Grüße die Hühner" ["Greetings to the Chicken"], 9th Swiss Triennial in Bad Ragaz
The 9th Swiss Triennial was presented in Bad Ragaz from 4. May 2024 to 30. October 2024. The larger-than-life pair of chickens was the motif of the installation.

Sculptural Installation "Wölfe in der Stadt" ["Wolves in the City"] in Kalkar
From 25. May 2024 - 6. October 2024, 25 wolves adorned the Jacobuswall in Kalkar. The installation was accompanied by an exhibition of selected paintings by Ottmar Hörl at studio20.21.

100 goldfarbene Goethe-Skulpturen bildeten vom 09. Juni - 14. Juni 2024 ein Highlight zum Auftakt des Jubiläums 250 Jahre Goethes Werther in Wetzlar.

The installation and exhibition of paintings and individual objects "Off to New Shores" was presented at Schloss Mochental from 16. June 2024 - 01. September 2024.

Sculptural Installation "Anna Katharina Emmerick - Zwischen Himmel und Erde" ["Anna Katharina Emmerick - Between Heaven and Earth"] in Coesfeld
To mark the 250th birthday of Anna Katharina Emmerick in August 2024, Ottmar Hörl created an installation of 250 sculptures of the famous Coesfeld nun and mystic.

Also to mark the 250th birthday of Friedrich Schiller, 100 Schiller sculptures were presented in front of the town hall in Marbach am Neckar on 10. November 2024.

Bertolt Brecht, 2019
Ottmar Hörl realised Bertolt Brecht, who was born in Augbsburg, in an unusual way: as a serial sculpture. We still have a few sculptures in bronze and blue-grey available.

Sparrow, 2025
After the installation "Better the Sparrow in the Hand than the Pigeon on the Roof" has been completed, the sculpture is expected to be available in our online shop in April.
