Gottlieb Daimler sculptural installation, 2019

It's Gottlieb Daimler's birthday: the inventor of the first four-wheel automobile would have been 185 years old on 17 March. He was born in Schorndorf, Germany, in 1834, changing the city forever with his innovations over the course of an active life. From 10 May to 22 September 2019, 500 Daimler sculptures will be set up in the grounds of Schorndorf Castle on the occasion of the Remstal Garden Show.

In the run-up to the opening of the installation on 10 May 2019, you will have the chance to purchase one of the five hundred sought-after Daimler figures that will be put on display there. No matter if you are just a private individual, an art collector or Daimler aficionado: secure yourself your Daimler at 300 euros, and be part of this unique art event in the grounds of the castle palace. As soon as the exhibition closes, the figure will be yours.
